Nobody works on Fridays
Does anybody ever seriously work on Fridays?
I know I don't.
Everything that I think/plan to do on a Friday seems less important when you realise it's a Friday. SO I spent my time at work thinking about the weekend, and all the sleep I am definitely going to get over the weekend.
For the first time in 3 months, I actually had to go down to our downtown store to help out. Then again, all I did was sit in the office and fill in some stuff for the receipts.
I had thought it was all too boring a task until I saw that movie-star-look-alike Japanese management trainee (yes, nice hair+suit+trimmed eyebrows+sparkly eyes = very giggly me)
walk into the office in that very suave manner.
After he left (he only stopped by for a brief moment) the moods sank downwards until the Korean-drama-serial-star-alike Hongkie sales manager walked in, stopped at my desk, looked at me and gave that "EH?" and threw me that "what-are-you-doing-here look."
(Yes, once again, tall+well built+suit+nice smile+fairly small eyes = very very giggly me)
I had thought he was a very snobbish guy, cos I've seen him around like 3-4 times and he always seem to be talking to the person with me, but not at all acknowledging me.
UNTIL
He gave a presentation to our team today on luxury selling (yes, all suave, tall, well built and in a suit) and he actually asked how I thought the current PRC pax was like. It wasn't until a few seconds later of blank look that he said "I saw you today helping out right?" that I realised he was talking to me.
Sigh (that very Korean drama-ish sigh)
This is about the only real excitement I've had in.... months.
NOW
I am contemplating moving to the shopfloor and do sales.
Sigh again (that very Japanese drama-ish sigh)
