TGIF

Wow.

I am busy.
With the computer taken off, I seriously have no mood to blog.

Anyhow, decide to drop by before I head out again to have dinner with some folks.

Yesterday was shits, and I had a whole chunk of complaints issues that I had wanted so much to blog about. BUT, when I reached home, I was stoned beyond words. All I was capable off, was to stare straight at the computer and browse random blogs.

I finally decided to stop procrastinating and head down to Tanglin Shopping Centre for my medical checkup. I have been procrastinating BECAUSE it is at Tanglin Shopping Centre. The walk from Orchard MRT to TSC was crap I tell you. I almost wanted to give up and turn around every 50 metres.

So, please imagine my horror when after the examination, the stupid clinical assistant gave me a "map" and have me find Orchard Building for my X-ray.
I dropped my jaw, and would have yanked all the hair off her head if not for her very fierce glare.
Grrr..

To top it off, prior to that, I actually spent 10 minutes sitting in the toilet just waiting for urine. I didn't know I was required to give urine for some test, so I stupidly emptied my bladder just right before I went into the clinic. Please imagine the agony of sitting at the bowl, with the container WILLING for urine to come. It didn't help when there was a little girl in the nice cubicle shitting, and the whole time the girl and her mother was having some conversation. It's distracting I tell you.

I gave up after 10 minutes and went back to the clinic and simply told her, I just couldn't do it now.
She gave me a funny look, and I sincerely hope she didn't include that delay in the medical report that would be submitted to my new company.

It's funny how they made me fill up this form that required me to answer questions like, "Do you smoke? If yes, how many sticks a day." I don't smoke, at least not often enough to count per day. But honestly, do you think I would be honest about it if I really smoked? It's afterall a medical checkup as designated by the company. That is, reports would be submitted to your company. Maybe smoking still ain't that bad. Another question they asked was "Do you consumer alcohol, how often?" If I am an alcoholic and I need to get my fix like every day. Would I honestly put it down in that form?

They should exercise more common sense when designing such forms really.

Anyhow, the doctor said I am oh-so-healthy.. and I totally do not buy that crap. Although he did mention that I have very low blood pressure (this time its 90/60-- is this like bad BAD?), and I should like exercise more.
Right.

Walking to the MRT station IS exercise for me.

And boy did I "exercise" yesterday.
Although I took a bus down to Somerset for my stupid X-ray, I had to walk back towards FEP to get my pants altered. I've like 4 work pants that I bought eons ago, and never go to altering them (because I don't like wearing pants). Those pants even have the tags on still. Hah.

Met Ms Joey after that at Shaw House, ate and shopped. Therefore, I honestly exercised alot yesterday. Because on top of all that shopping, I walked all the way down to Dhoby Ghaut to catch that stupid NEL back home.

Even though most of the time I crashed at the fitting rooms, I reckon I still exercised more than usual ok?

Tangs have like very very nice fitting rooms I tell you, it makes you want to sleep on their comfy couches. Grrr..

I have to end this entry like so abruptly because I needa head out again!

Have a willlllldddd weekend!
