Are we truly a democratic society?
Abit of heavy stuff to trudge through.
Do we control the Government (and its decisions) or do they control the people (with their decisions)?
Questions to really think about.

I am inclined to ask this, but not given an opinion because as bloggers, or common people or the population we are not allowed to post political commentaries due to the impending elections.

I wonder the rationale behind this.

If a blog contains racist remarks, and the Government decides to fine us (or put some into jail) .. I perhaps still could see the train of thought and understand the rationale behind. (as much as I do not accept it).
Racist remarks on blogs, are still a representation of a person's opinion. Yes, it would definitely offend some, and piss the others off, and in that even spark a war if you like. But honestly, if these people are that extreme, you think monitoring the blogs, hitting them with a fine and throwing them into jail will stop them? I honestly doubt.
Just like I honestly doubt Singaporeans will get that extreme.
I mean, hello? We can't even go on strike lor.
