Women thrive on gossips
Spoke to Mr Valenwolf the other day on MSN.
He asked the name of the girl that was next to me in my MSN profile pic. (fyi its rie the berry). And we went on to discuss about how
** Sidenote: Please do note that WEIRD is spelt W-E-I-R-D.
I have this quirk about spelling mistakes and weird is just a word that I cannot stomach properly when spelt wrongly... How difficult is it to spell weird?
Yes, I am talking about YOU.
I think Mr Valenwolf was only being polite because unique is something that everyone is. Go think about it, every single one of us are unique. No one is exactly the same as the other. NOT even twins are that similar. Therefore, this led me to conclude that he really meant weird.
Well, he definitely has solid ground to draw his conclusion from. Afterall, we all (used to) belong to the xanga community, before I moved. So a year's plus of blogging probably got him thinking we're all a very weird bunch.
I thought about it yesterday for quite abit, and I made some comparisons with the other blogs I've read.
I definitely do admit we are a bunch of rather weird girls. Although Mr Valenwolf did not go further to comment about the other
Well, as I said he didn't mention about the rest of my pals. But let me explain why after some thoughts I conclude that they are
Ashpixie was the friend that actually introduced me to the xanga community (and subsequently the many others in our posse). I was with blogspot at the beginning (and back here again). At the initial stages, blogspot was very very UNuserfriendly. So switching to xanga was like.. a major blessing, because they were just so easy to use and fun.
If you read Ashpixie's blog, you would tend to form the impression that she is a deep thinker (not that I am saying she is not), adventurous and outgoing person.
Well, in my opinion.. she is adventurous limitedly.
That is to say, she has this very
The latest I've heard (that is, in our final year) she said she wants to perm, and if you've seen her lately you'd know she still sports a very straight hair.
Rie the berry, sad to say I'd rate her as the
I say she is weird not because she is fat, has round face, short, or ugly, or have horrid complexion. If you read her blog (both the old and new) enough, you'd know that.. She always claims to be all that. But I promise to you, she is none of what she claims to be.
She definitely ain't fat. Because if she is I don't know who else is thin anymore. As much as she is not stick thin, she is the average female size.
The thing about her round face.. well, she does have a round face (like me), but it seriously ain't as bad as she says everytime.
Her complexion is one of the best amongst all my friends. She is so fair and her skin is near flawless, though she claims it's because of the wonders of makeup and bla bla bla, and how she piles loads of skincare. Perhaps she do. But it really still isn't as bad as she says it is lor.
I think she is also unique because
And she loves being an auntie.
Enough said about this weird quirk.
Ling is one of the later ones to jump onto the xanga bandwagon. I'd say she is the least weird pal of mine, but definitely the most contradictory. What you see is NOT what you get with her.
On the outside, she looks like the gentle doe (ok, she is sometimes) but when she is angry, she is really angry. My impression on her was that she is the "family" type of person. One who would love to settle down, have a dozen kids (ok, maybe 2). Basically a very "wife" or "mother" material.
But she isn't.
She doesn't believe in marriage. Don't like kids and don't plan to have any of her own.
And accordingly to AK, she sleeps almost instantaneously like how guys zonk off the moment their head touches the pillow.

I think the list should end here. Not because the rest of my friends are not "friends" or they are not weird enough. Trust me they are. (yes Jadedcia, you belong to the list too). But for them, the reasons why I think they are
Well, plus the fact that I will be meeting the entire gang tomorrow..
I ain't too keen to offend ALL of them.
Disclaimer: Don't go all crazy on me about this entry ok?
I love you guys!

I officially feel like a factory operator now.
We're all on rotating shifts at work. That is, you either work 9am - 3pm (sweet) or 11:30am - 5:30pm (argh).
Today, I am on the afternoon shift, which means I have to get my sorry ass off work to shop only at 5:30pm.
To top it off, the day have to worsen when I realise that our pay is delayed for the weekend.
WHAT? No MONEY this weekend?
You know, I can't transfer my money out from Stand Chart in time to spend it over the weekend.
BAH.

I spent the good part of yesterday gossiping.
At work, that was all we did in the later part of the afternoon. Gathered around in our cubicle and indulge in office politics.
After work, it was more gossips during dinner with my immediate boss and an ex colleague. We talked so much and had so much fun we actually sat from 6pm-10pm at Dining @ Sakae chatting. Can you believe this?

I majorly screwed up a phone interview.
How can I not?
When they ask questions like, "Do you like to care for others?" If you answered yes, you are asked to illustrate.
Worse, it was in a "structured" atmosphere without interaction.
I stuttered, skipped questions and said "I don't know"
Yes I am fucking upset about it.
Oh wells.

With only 4 people left in office, I am left with the choice of
a) sleeping at my desk till 5:30pm
b) sneaking off early.
Tough choice I tell you.

Last but not least.

The biological clock is ticking.
