I finally snapped outta my "one of those days" period.
A short talk with someone, phone calls from a friend, Ajisen with Barbie and a small slice of cake pretty much did it for me. At least things are finally picking up for me.
But I am still dog tired can.
Headed back home after work yesterday before going out for dinner at Bishan (I know this sounds stupid). My parents finally came back from Bangkok, and I bumped into them before I left for Bishan. (Say hello to clean rooms!!!) My mum once again snapped over there and bought lots of stuff back of us. This includes 2 bottles of my CURL MEMORY mascara from Kate. I still can't believe its sold out in Singapore but available in other countries. Just what is their problem? Can't they ship in more to the Singapore outlets? To think, I had to literally bug my parents and a friend to help get them for me from BKK and HK. So now I have t-h-r-e-e (3) bottles in my drawer! That is how much I love that darn mascara. And no, NONE of my three bottles are up for sale. On top of those mascaras mummy bought loads of other stuff. From panties, clothes, skirts, bags for my sis and I to T-shirts and pork floss for my fatboy. She seriously love shopping for others....
These few days, the people in my office are seriously hooked to Dai pai dong on www.maggiemarket.com .. Thus far, I hold the highest record with $9400. Let's see how today goes. Oh yes, that's all we ever do in office these days. Gotta head out and buy more books tomorrow. I think in Feb, I've read like 5 books during office hours.
Vanishing Act and The Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult, The Broker by John Grisham, The Lost Boy and A man called Dave by David Pelzer.
Not that I am complaining, but seriously I can feel my brain rotting away ok?
I am so totally missing Melbourne / Sydney lately.
And because I blog hop so much these days, I can't help but chance upon blogs of people living in Melbourne / Sydney. It just becomes too hard for me to supress those memories. Afterall, those were great times.
And I yearn to go back.
