Holidays
Friday:-
Though I was dead tired.
We still manage to hang out at Labyrinth. (pronounce as LAB-i-rinth)
My first pint of Hoegarden was orgasmic.
It's really the best beer ever. And I swear not to drink any other beer other than Hoegarden (and Heinekein).
Regardless what Jessica Alba says, Tiger Beer just sucks.
Though I don't play pool.
Labyrinth's just cool enough.
On top of having the best beers, they have amazingly great nuts (edible nuts).
If not for the music (and vibrating walls), it will make a great chill-out place.
But really, the walls vibrate (because of the music). Though Hoegarden did not make me nauseous.. the walls definitely did.
Totally hooked to Hoegarden.
Saturday:-
For the first time (since quite some time back), we did not have a reunion dinner.
The last time we skipped reunion dinner was when my family were living in Australia, and I had to settle with Tom Yam maggie mee (which I totally adore and am having a craving for as we speak).
This time round, every one of us are in Singapore, but we just did not get to preparing for a steamboat.
With granny in hospital.. I guess its just kinda tough, and nobody's really in the mood.
Anyhow, we had a reunion lunch at Jack's Place which will suffice (for now)
Had dinner with Barbie.
And it just ain't the same.
Perhaps I am too acustomed with mum's food, or at least the comfort of my own place..
I just couldn't eat till I puke.
Which explains the hunger pangs now.
Fearless is awesome.
Regardless what others say, I love the movie.
Typical it is.
But I liked Jet Li since I was young.
I totally enjoyed Huang Fei Hong lor.
I rewatch all those movies and never really got sick of them.
I even remembered going to the movies when I was young to catch his Once upon a time in China with my uncle.
Come to think of it, I think my uncle was quite a loser (haha).
He actually brought my brother and I to the movies to catch a movie, instead of going with his girlfriend.
Tsk tsk.
No wonder he is still not married now.
Oh, and we caught the MTV of Jay Chou's new song, which he wrote specially for the movie (and Jet Li)
BAHAHAHHAAA.
I so need to marry Jay Chou.
(not a want, but a need)
Its CNY.
But I don't feel festive at all.
So sad.
IN fact, I am not feeling all too up.
Visited my granny in hospital, and she's just getting worse.
Everytime I see her, it jogs my memory and brings back the past.
It breaks my heart.
I am just too tired now to pour it out.
And it just becomes too boring to do so.
Perhaps in my private space I would.
Happy Chinese New Year!
