Harlan Coben
Dear Harlan Coben,
You have a fan in me.
I pledge myself to you.
I swear from now on, I will list you as my favourite author, and no one else (till I find better).
Dan Brown's Da Vinci is good, but you surpass that.
For so far, 2 of your books impressed me till no end. And I honestly can't wait to read the rest.
I finished yet another book of his yesterday.
That's right.
I did it all in like 5 hours.
I drank it all in within 5 hours.
He is truly truly amazing.
The twists in his plots are so darn clever. Though you will guess and second guess, you will just never would have thought of it, unlike Dan Brown, whose plots are seriously getting stale.
Maybe because so far it has only been 3 Harlan Coben. But 3 is enough for me to be a fan. Truly.
Went for my pedicure today. As my colleague described, it is really theraputic. Sitting there, having your feet pampered by some other. And your toes shining beautifully after is just satisfying.
To think, I sneaked out of office at 5:30pm today. Though my office hours are officially 9-5:30, it sometimes seems like a criminal offence to leave at 5:30pm.
Life is mundane.
I wish for more excitement.
At the same time I yearn for normalcy.
Contradictory statements. But that is truly how I feel.
Its hard to explain really.
Sometimes I feel like is getting too routined and boring, and wish for something spice that up. Yet at the same time, I wish that certain things would just remain as the way they are. Or that stuff will be normal again once more.
Its strange.
Maybe I'm just too messed up.
Passed Eski Bar today.
Maybe I should stop by one day, and bring a whole new meaning to chilling out.
