Homecoming

I thought homecoming was worth celebrating.
Think again.

Its Sunday night.
Monday blues setting in.
Looking back on the weekend passed.
All I remember of it is the tears I've shed.

Shamelessly cancelled my appointment with a dear friend on Friday.
All because Mr Ungrateful suddenly was able to book out early from camp.
I truly felt bad.
Like really bad.
Really.
I couldn't bring myself to tell her the reason why I had to abruptly cancel our appointment (which we made like a week ago).

Bought a FCUK top for Mr Ungrateful.
So overpriced.
Totally regretted it the moment I saw an ultra cute platform wedge at Hue.
$59 for a pair of shoes as compared to the $79 spent on that lousy ungrateful ass.
Darn.
THAT was impulse purchase.

Don't wish to mention the rest of the lousy weekend in detail.
Just so utterly depressing.
Puffy eyes from excessive crying + bejewelling (on MSN) is seriously bad for health.

I promise.
I'd treat myself better next weekend.

A tight slap works most of the time.
The day it doesn't, I'd bring out my softball bat.
This is not a threat.
This is a factual statment.

I take back my words.
I am not suffering from the Monday Blues yettttt..
Because my 2 bosses are out to visit a Malaysia factory tomorrow morning.
Which gives me total reign in my department.
Which also gives me absolute power to order my temp around.
Pass me the coffee, hand me the papers.
Monday morning will be a breezeee (hopefully).
Let's not go into Tuesday morning yet.
I beg you.

Blew close to a $100 shopping the other day.
OZOC's 50% storewide discount burnt a hole in my pocket.
I love their clothes.
But really, if they continue to be so ridiculously priced.
I will have to only wait for sales like that.

Platform wedge vs Mambo bag vs Kenzo's Flower vs Jill Stuart red plastic specs
Why does my list keep increasing?
